Yesterday, students, faculty and staff gathered in Pope Lecture Hall to listen to a discussion about the role of the church in the Civil Rights Movement given by Rev. Marion Franklin, Ph.D., as part of a series of events scheduled to celebrate Black History Month.
Celebrate Black History Month: Flag Raising Ceremony

Students, faculty and staff gathered by the flag pole near the bridge to commemorate Black History Month. The ceremony included poetry, speeches and songs by students and staff.
