In Rome, Taylor Fulkerson, SJ, gave the group a tour of the rooms of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and the Chiesa del Gesu, where he is buried.

The LUV 2025 Short Play Festival showcases 5 plays weekly for three weeks in February that celebrate love in all its forms. One of the featured works was the play Choices written by Prof. Constance Wagner.

In his talk titled, “Poetry for All of Us” Crews shared his thoughts on the bonds poetry creates between people and inspired the audience with his personal anecdotes and poetry. Crews is the author of four prize-winning books of poetry—The Book of What Stays, Telling My Father, Bluebird, and Every Waking Moment—and a book of short essays, Kindness Will Save the World: Stories of Compassion and Connection. James also speaks and leads workshops on kindness, mindfulness, and writing for self-compassion.
